Myra Beltran’s Dance Forum marks 10 years with Nostalgia: Le Grand Tango

Ten years back, Dance Forum opened its studio as an alternative performing space and independent dance has not looked back since.

Dance Forum celebrates the past ten years in the choreography of Myra Beltran in Nostalgia: le grand tango. Violinist Alfonso Bolipata plays in this entire evening of all-tango music by Astor Piazzolla in a quintet of piano, harmonium, clarinet and bass.

Performances are on July 7, 2007 8pm at Dance Forum Space, 36E West Avenue and on July 12, 2007, 8pm at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Little Theatre for Wi_fi Body Festival 2.

Also performing are dance artists Paul Morales, Christine Crame, Jun Saagundo, Marielle Alonso and Vincent Egido, with Jourdan Petalver on piano, Punnu Wasu on harmonium, Jayson Rivera on clarinet, and Ariston Payte on bass.
